The TileLock™ Shower Bar is a suction-mounted steadying and balance aid. It is not a medical device, not a mobility aid, and it is not rated to support a person's full body weight or to arrest a fall. Use it to steady yourself while stepping in, turning and stepping out. If you need a bar that will take your entire weight, use one bolted through into wall studs.
The bar holds by vacuum on a smooth, flat, non-porous surface. Each 3.75″ cup must sit entirely on one tile of 4″ or larger and must not cross a grout line. It will not hold on textured tile, unsealed natural stone, drywall or paint. Check the seal with a firm push before every use and re-seat the cups if they feel loose.
